Ok girls. I have never been on Chlomid before and I'm starting to worry a little bit. I was hoping that yall could possibly help me out! I took Chlomid day 6-12 of this cycle. I'm currently on cd 20. I have no idea if I O'd or not because I did not take any OPK's because my doctor said I shouldn't have to and now Im kicking myself for not doing so.

Anyway, I for the past couple of days have been having a lot of nausea and my boobs hurt really bad. But the kicker is I have been cramping consistantly as well. Nothing really strong but definitely able to feel it, a little stronger then AF cramps but nothing to concern me. Now I know that it is way too early to have PG symptoms so I don't think it is that but I just wanted to know if it is normal on this medication to feel this way??

Thanks!

I just finished my last clomid pill this amm CD3-7 and this is my second cycle. My expierence is that I cramp on and off all month before clomid and still did on clomid. I felt very bloated and crampy last cycle from CD11-17ish (ovulation time) ....then it went away till my AF cramping started. Maybe what you are feeling is some ovulation cramping? I know clomid can make some people feel sick and yucky so that could be a side effect.

I hope you get to feeling better and fx this is all a good sign

Agreed...lots of women feel crampy on Clomid because your ovaries are more stimulated than usual.

I highly recommend asking your doctor for ultrasound monitoring while you are on Clomid. Without it, there is no way to know what is going on in there! You might need a higher or lower dosage, your lining might be thinning, and you don't know for sure when/if you ovulate unless you keep an eye on things. Every cycle is a chance to collect more info about your body and how it reacts to your fertility plan, and by doing some monitoring in conjunction with the Clomid, you'll be able to get more info to get that BFP as soon as possible. Good luck!

You've already heard my opinion about your doctor and your clomid cycles, but I'll just reiterate what the others have said. Clomid can cause you to be crampy and all sorts of weird side effects. I'd get an appointment with an RE ASAP.

Askt o be put on a cancellation list, and call back once a week to see if there is anything available sooner. Are there any other RE's you can see?

I agree with the other ladies about it. I hope you're able to get in with a RE soon.

Thank you so much for all of the helpful tips!! I'm calling my doctor's office now to see if they will just do some blood work but she just told me that she has to get her office manager to approve of me coming in?! Ok...I was trying to stick with them through this cycle but now I'm done...new doctor it is! I am going to be using OPK's from now on and I'm calling a different RE today that a friend suggested to me last night. This whole experiance so far has been confusing and discouraging!

As far as temping goes. Please don't laugh because I'm still new at all of this but I don't know how.

The best read for learning how is "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" By Toni Weschler. Fertilityfriend.com has a basic course, but I really recommend the book.
