So the day after I started bleeding I caught the worst flu of my life- no joke. It was horrible. Chills, body aches, fever but only a slight cough. I started freaking out thinking maybe I had an infection from the m/c because my symptoms were so minimal other than the flu type feeling and in the past when I went septic it felt very similar. A couple days later, still really sick, the snot started and was freaking crazy up until yesterday. I have never used so much tissue in my life. But it reassured me that it was the cold/flu.
*there is a point to all this I promise*
Anyway, so I normally start BBT CD5 but this cycle my temp was higher and has stayed there. I do vaginally and they have been 99.0ish which is a bit higher than my post-O temps. I thought maybe low grade fever but 4 days later it's still high! today's was 99.1 I thought since I feel better today, it would be down.
This concerns me because I never saw my temp goes down after the m/c and this could be a coincidence but what if it's not?
So then I am trying to figure out if maybe I have a sinus infection or something else? Lungs are clear, mucus is clear but I do have a lot of pressure that goes all the way from my ears through my eyes. So then I go back to the m/c worrying somehow it is causing my temps.
As far as the m/c goes, I will admit it was pretty heavy and clots but cramping was less than normal surprisingly. I bled for a bit longer but I stopped spotting CD7 and everything seems normal.
I also took an HPT and OPK on CD6 JIC and both were negative. But my OPK is getting darker now quicker than normal. I am also having ovary twinges on both sides which is normal for me so that all seems normal.

I was thinking of going in to see my GP but I don't want to take antibiotics if I don't need to and I feel like Dr. just prescribe JIC. Is it ok to do antibiotics with IUI and such?
I also worry about the illness/fever harming my follicles. Is that possible?

Well now that I have my life story out there
Any thoughts or advice would be SO appreciated!!

Antibiotics will be fine for an IUI. Additionally it sounds as though you've definitely got the flu and sinusitis. I hope you feel better soon!

I would think antibiotics would bring you no harm and it's possible that this could be indication that there is an infection brewing some where in your body. I hope u get better and as far as it hurting your ovulation. U won't know till it's time. I had times I was sick and taking meds and it didn't mess with my o but my last cycle I was on antibiotics, muscle relaxer, steroids, and some kind of inflammation meds and I didn't o tell CD 30

Hope you're feeling better Lucy!

And yes, IUI with antibiotics should be no concern.
