We took out a loan through Fertility Finance. There are some fertility finance companies that work directly with your clinic. You can do a google search to find more. I think there is another one call Springfield Fertility finance, or something like that.

I think doing yard sales, bakes sales (if you like to bake), or any other kind of sale would certainly help towards your goal. And if family members can contribute, even if it's only $25-50, every little bit helps.

Good luck!

My DH sold stuff from estate sales, yard sales and auctions on Ebay for 2.5 years and saved enough money our IVF procedure.

We would have paid for it with a medical loan if he wouldn't have came up with the money.

Bake sales and ebay sales are both great ideas.

My husband is getting out of the army and going to the civilian equivalent of his job which will enable our financial ability to pay for IVF. It's one of the top 5 reasons he's getting out.

My friend is in the process of adopting a little boy from Ethiopia. She started a blog spot and has several fund raisers. 1 is a coffee fundraiser, 1 is a puzzle where she is selling pieces of the puzzle and the persons name goes on the back of the piece. Hers is a picture of Africa. It will be a gift for her son. Yours could be a "family" design. She also did a t shirt. Her husband learned to make shapes out of balloons and on the weekend he gets hired for parties. But people are always sharing her blog spot on fb and she even get annomous donations!

We will finance what we don't have in savings through one of the fertility financing options. And DH will stay in his POS 14 yo car lol!
Last time when I did injections/IUIs (ran us about $10,000 by the time we got pg), I was lucky enough to have my mom help.
Due with #3
10 IUIs= one confirmed /IVF= BFN / FET= / FET2= Baby!

We have literally been saving as much as possible for the last 2 years. It was for our dream nursery or if we had to go further with medical treatments. If not were considering a fertility loan if we ever had to IVF. Honestly just putting back as little as 200.00 a month can really help at the beginning. We then took all of our refund money from taxes and any money increase from raises with DH's pay. In that time period alone we have "raised" close to 7500K

The fundraisers sound amazing as well

We took out a loan from my 401k - I figured I'd much rather pay myself back with interest instead of paying back a credit card!!! Plus, because it's my 401K, it's automatically paid back through my paycheck, so thankfully I don't have to "pay" a bill for our failed IVF's... I honestly never even think about it.

We've been able to save by cutting out a lot of things. We also do the "Christmas Club" at our bank & have $100/wk put in there. It's a savngs account that you can't touch, so every October we get $5200 which helps in case we had anything on a credit card from TTCMA...otherwise, we try not to use our cards.
Luckily, my insurance covers a lot. That's been the entire reason that I travel 50 miles each way to work...for my medical benefits.

We're doing donor embryos so it's not as expensive as a normal IVF but still something we don't have the money laying around for. We sold a bunch of our old textbooks online and we have a duffle bag of other books to take to a local used bookstore but the owner has been sick so it's been closed lately. I put a donate button on my blog and raised $80 so far that way, but turned around and spent that money on supplies for paracord awareness bracelets. I just started selling the bracelets on the 15th and I've already made about $50 of that back. My mother is going to help me set up a local fundraiser to sell more of those. They are fairly easy to make and you can find tutorials online. You can see examples of the the ones I've made so far on my facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=9a6611e6c7

Thanks Bokkechick for my wonderful siggy!
