Ok, I wasn't really nervous when I got there but instead I sat in bewilderment wondering how I got this far & that I was at an "IN"fertility specialist. I just couldn't really grasp the idea that I was about to step into the thoughts of HSGs, HCG shots, IUIs & IVF treatments. Well, the dr seems to be a great guy. He wants to try & get this cycle to be a winner so here is what is going to happen in the next few days...

1) Tomorrow I go in for a follicle & lining scan.
2) If there are good follicles, he will give me the HCG trigger shot & we can decide to...
A) BD like crazy, or
3) Progesterone supplements for after O.

That simple...yep, he is willing to go for it this cycle & believes we will be successful. I'm not getting my hopes up b/c I am so use to not getting that 2nd line that I don't want to work myself into a frenzy. If it doesn't work out this cycle, then we go through the regular things such as blood on CD 3, HCG before CD 10, SA for DH, & new medicine that isn't Clomid. Apparently there is something better. WAAHOO!!!! Now, this is all going to be a pretty penny but anything is worth having a baby in my arms. So, there you have it, my RE appt.

OH>>>>>>No more EPO for me! He said that EPO has a little bit of estrogen in it & may adversely affect the Clomid!!!!!

I'm glad to hear it went well. I am headed in the same direction. AF is on her way and my dr. said she doesn't think we should do Clomid just with BDing anymore, so my next cyle with Clomid will also include IUI.

I have been through the HSG, HcG trigger shots, and all that fun stuff, so feel free to chat with me about it.

I am glad that you will be monitored and have a doctor working with you. I hope that is all it takes.

GOOD LUCK ladies. It will be worth it when we hold our babies in our arms.

New Plan Of ACTION~~Lose weight and exercise, wait for referral to Gyno, after 6 months no BFP onto IUI~~<a href="http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/12551b" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">

I wonder if he'll give you femara? Clomid didn't do anything for me at all. No o on 150mg at all. Femara and BAM o right away. On the right day and everything!!! Great EWCM. I couldn't be happier. Femara also gave me NO side effects at all and the clomid gave me several. Good luck. If you do get put on femara pm me with any questions, this is my 3rd month of it.
