can i just go for my yearly pap and ask her these questions. i have been not trying not preventing since may 05, and kind of trying these last 4 or 5 months. we don't have insurance so would it just be pointless or could she do something to help. i o really late and my lp is 11 days at the longest, has been 9. i should say i am still nursing so i know she'll tell me to stop but i have always been irregular.

My dr wouldnt see me until it was a yr of us ttc, and I had to have charts to show him. I would call them up to see what they say, but a lot of places wont see you until a yr. I got lucky mine saw me when we were TTC for 10 cycles so I didnt have to wait those extra 2 mos.

so you have to chart for 12 cycles, i was just thinking i could ask my regular obgyn. i have not been preventing for 18 months now, she knows that because i told her after dd i didn't want birth control.

Most doctors won't see you until you've been TTC for a year (or 6 months if you're over 35), but since you're also BF that could be a factor and they might not do anything just yet. However, if you have your annual physical coming up I can't see any harm in asking at that visit. You never know!

We didn't have to wait 12 months because I have Endo and I managed to get in pretty quickly. Good luck and keep us posted.
