I'm back from a weeks long trip to Punta Cana, where AF came to visit!! Luckily for me I would be back by CD4 to have my blood and ultrasound done on my ovaries to start my first attempt at IUI this month!!!

My doctor has me going back to her Thrusday for a sonohystergram.. I took my first 100mg of Clomid last night.. what does a sono feel like, do? I had an HSG and jut got crampy..

for those of you that have had IUI done, after the 5 pills of Clomid..and I go back Tuesday for bloodwork.. what's next, I filled the perscription for ovidrel.. they think maybe next week they'd do "it".. does that sound right??

thanks ladies!!!

Sorry but I'm not too sure. Is the sono the same as a vaginal u/s? I have had many of those done and they don't hurt at all.

Good luck and let us know how the appointment goes.

Welcome back from holidays. We have a great section here on Test and Procedures. It's a lot easier to refer people there since many of the responses are in detail. I wrote about my SHG test there as did a few other people.

A SHG isn't a vaginal u/s. A cathater is inserted into the cervix and saline is injected into the uterus. Then a vaginal u/s is inserted and they follow where the saline goes and it looks at the shape of the uterus and can also be used to check for blocked tubes and scar tissue.
