We are going to go to our RE appt next tuesday but we arent going to make any plans for future treatments yet. Depending on what our RE says we may not even do Gift again this year.

We want to try on our own for awhile. We have been very stressed lately the last 4 months. I know that I pushed so much for all these treatments because I was desperate to be preg again after my miscarriage. We think its best to just relax for awhile.

We might try more IUI's next year, but we arent sure if we want to go the ivf route or not. I think I might ask my RE to put me on Clomid or Letrozole while we try on our own, just to give us a little help each month. I know that the amount of stress ive put myself under has probably effected the outcome of alot of my treatments. I get so wound up with each one that I can barely breathe until I know the results.

Im ready for a break!!

There is nothing more satisfying then having a plan! At least for me anyway lol.

I'm so glad that you've had a chance to digest what you've been through the past few months and to determine what your next steps are. You have age on your side which means you can definitely enjoy a nice break from all the chaos. That can do nothing other than make things better for you. Best case scenario, you will get pg on your own. Worst case scenario, you'll rejuvinate yourself for the next step of medical assistance. Either way, you're in great shape!

Enjoy the break!

It is summer, what a perfect time to break and relax together for a few months. Amazing things happen when we sit back and relax so fingers crossed a little mracle comes your way this summer.

I know I sound like a broken record but if you have acupuncture in your area you may want to check in to it. It has taken away so much stress for me and I have only gone once. I can only imagine how I will feel after I have a few more treatments under my belt.

I agree with Gillian about the need to have a 'plan' although we all know that we cannot
control fate etc, it still makes me feel better having something in place etc kwim?

I am really glad that you have decided to give yourself a little break.
It really must of been very unsettling going through the IUI's and then the GIFT.
I hope that the break brings you your heart's desire and that you come here with fab news!

Good luck Christin and i have all the crossables x for you!

Waiting for god to bless me with my 1st child when the time is right.

Stina~ I have thought about trying acupuncture. I live in a rural community about 2 hours south of Kansas City so finding specialist like accupuncturist are hard to come by.

My parents have offered to help us out a bit with the cost of ivf and my little brother who is only 20 offered to give me money each month to put away for IVF! Of course I couldnt accept money from him because that is for his future, but it was great to hear his offer Right now though it sounds good to just relax a bit.

We plan on using OPK's and Dh is going to continue using Fertilaid so maybe we can get a bfp on our own again.

To my Aries:
The time we had with you was brief,
We had to say good-bye,
Now angels kiss your little face,
And sing your lullaby.

Someday again, we'll be with you,
To cherish all those things,
Until that day it helps to know,
You're safe in angels wings.
