Beta was 12, progesterone was 15. The nurse said the beta level was really low as if I was only a week gestation from conception. I'm hoping that's because I'm only about 10-11 dpo at the time of the test? Also, the progesterone is on the low side of normal so they want to go ahead and put me on progesterone suppositories just in case. Anybody know something about this that can make me feel better? I'm retesting the levels tomorrow at 8:30 am so I can get the results by the afternoon.

First off, congrats to you.

If you are only 10-11 dpo your # is right on target, plus you may be less dpo then you think too. The fact that you got a + result is good and Im sure the #'s will keep rising.

Keep us updated.

FYI, on my last pregnancy, I found out I was pregnant 4 days late for AF, about 19 dpo and my level was 70, so you should be fine.

Given how early you are, don't worry about the low beta. There is a very high range of "normal" beta numbers so you really can't get yourself hung up on the one number. The key with HCG levels is you want to see them doubling every 48-72 hours and then you know you're good. So, tomorrow's test will be the one to watch! If that 12 was drawn yesterday, then you're going to want to see something over 20 tomorrow.

As for the progesterone, it's not too bad so don't worry. Like you said, it's on the low side of normal, but still normal. The suppositories will do the trick. They're icky and messy, but that's a small price to pay!

Congrats to you!
