I am a lousy mother moments??

Hannah's birthday was the 28th and we normally take the birthday child out for dinner at a restaurant of their choice. Well that week we had over 200.00 in unexpected expenses. My insurance didn't cover my progesterone shots so I had to pay for it up front which was 105, then the battery in our van died and needed replaced so that was another 100. Needless to say I couldn't justify going out to dinner that week. So I told her we would go the next weekend....and I forgot. I didn't even think about it until today and Hannah bless her heart never said a thing about it.

She can be such a sweetheart but I feel bad now

Of course. I think everyone has those moments. I think the fact that you have them means that you actually AREN'T a lousy mother. Because you care. I'm sure she understood and it's nice that you did get to take her out.
