What does your family do that is not so "green"???

For starters - we drive a Suburban. I am sure that is not so green. We probably waste a lot of water too. LOL

We do recycle. That has to count for something. LOL

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy!!!

Paper diapers and we don't recycle. The Suburban we bought in March has not worked more than it has, so I guess we park that and drive the Honda instead is a green thing!

I am bad at recycling. We have a 15 pass van...it's a gas guzzler....but hey I recycled someone elses old car! That counts right! LOL....

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

I too drive a Suburban (with our family almost being 8, really, how could we drive anything else that properly seats us?) and we do disposable diapers. We recycle most of the time though.

I don't know about you ladies, but clothe diapers simply would not be practical and any more 'green' due to the fact of how much we already have to use our washer and dryer

I am mostly a cloth mama and dry them on the line. They work for me because of the $ savings and since I am a bit of a tree hugger I do enjoy them

I wish we could find a mini-van that wasn't a gas guzzler but alas I use more gas than I should.

I keep forgetting to reuse the plastic produce bags from the grocery store. I really ought to just stick them in the canvas bags when I put the groceries away but I forget.

And the pool. To convert to a green cleaning system is too much money for us right now so we do it the "bad" way.

I try to focus on the positives and remind myself that every bit helps.

We recycle some but nowhere near as much as we should. My husband drives a Yukon Denali... talk about a gas guzzler! We waste more water than we should and I am guilty or running small loads when I'm in a pinch.
