Great article! I really do wish that everyone understood that an only child can be twice the work and twice as costly as five.

I liked the 1st paragraph lol AND the part about having a huge van but never using it. Totally our family, and DH drives a little mercury tracer! haha

love it! Now that I've got four kids, I am more enviro responsible by:
-planting a garden
-staying home more-instead of driving around shopping out of boredom
-buying more efficient laundry appliances
-watching our power consumption-turning off more lights and lowering the heat
-buying used play clothes instead of new
-driving an older minivan instead of a diesel gas guzzler with one person in it
-playing in the yard instead of driving throughout the city to soccer practices
-recycling everything so we don't haul it to the dump, never did that with one kid

Lucky mother to five!
