When they get a "boo boo"?????

Andrew is tough. He hates band aids and doesn't like a fuss over him being hurt.

Shane, on the other hand, FREAKS out. He fell off his bike this weekend and I had to put a band aid on it to cover the flap of skin hanging. The band aid was worse than the fall and he screamed bloody murder. Now he can't move his arm because of the band aid.

Do you have dramatic ones or tough ones?

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy!!!

All the kids are pretty tough.
Aylie wants a bandaid if there's blood.
Layla just wants me to acknowledge it and kiss it better.
Rhett gets some many bumps a day it's ridiculous.

Emma is pretty dramatic, not that the injury itself bothers her. She just thinks that any little boo boo deserves an Oscar-winning preformance.

Cortney that is how my 3 yr old is. The slightest owie and its full blast crying. It doesn't help when the older kids baby her.

The other kids are tougher.

My kids scream like they are dying if they so much as bump into the wall but give them a kiss where the owie is (or supposedly is) and they stop crying right away and are fine.

My kids are all great lovers of bandaids. I used to fight with them over what needs a bandaid - but then I thought "Why bother?" Now we go through a lot of bandaids and they rarely cry. Beth can come insideand go up to the bathroom, wash a cut, climb on the counter, and get a bandaid from the medicine cabinet all by herself. DH hates that I let her do that - but hey, it keeps me from having to drag my big pregnant butt and the two little ones that I won't leave outside in to do it.

Right now Will is in an ice phase so every time he gets a bump he yells for ice and as soon as he gets it stops crying right away.

James is pretty tough and most tumbles don't even phase him. If he gets a decent ouchie he'll cry but not for long and is easily comforted (and of course Will stands there asking me to get ice for James because he thinks that solves all ouchies)

My kiddos are all tough, the 2 year old and 4 year old always want a bandaid, just because, but I just buy them at the $ store so I don't really mind going through them. When my son had to get 14 stitches on his ear because he almost sliced it right in half he yelled a little, like this mom, mom oh no mom, I run over and I see blood he goes look no at my ear ugh, luckily dh was home at the time and he took him to the er as they were driving Thayer is just siting there holding a wash cloth on it and asks dh if they can just put a band aid on it, he was 4
