I had pregnancy related gallbladder problems before and after Martin was born had a major attack and at the ER they said my liver was damaged and needed to take gallbladder out asap.

I also have always had horrid morning sickness...

Did anyone have their gallbladder removed and still go on to have more babies? Did your pregnancies seem better/easier? What about morning sickness?

My pregnancy with Martin was the worst and immediately after he was born a switch was flipped and I felt good/normal again...except for the gallbladder attack three months later lol

I had mine out in 08 and am on my 2nd pregnancy since then.
I had M/S with my first 2 (97,01) not my next 3 (05,07,09) still waiting to see what this one does.
If you have a really bad gallbladder then having baby sit on it for 9m would be miserable, I'm sure.

My sister had hers out after a baby and had another baby and is currently pregnant with her third. I think she had it worse the first child and it wasn't so bad the second two but I would have to ask her to be sure.
I wouldn't know because I am supposed to get mine out but still have it.

Thanks I was really hoping for more feedback but maybe most women don't get theirs out until they are done?

Thankfully I never had problems with mine. Good luck! I'm sure you get some good advice here.

My mom had hers out I think after her 5th (me). She had 2 more babies. I don't know about her MS. Must not have been too bad because I don't remember it.

I had mine taken out when Nick was 4 months old. I've since had Kiera, Josh, twins, Halleigh, and am pregnant again. I felt no real difference in my nausea/morning sickness. I think that has more to do with hormones than anything else.

I've only had one term pg, and my gb was fine during and after. I work in the OR and have seen a few gallbladders come out early in pg, and LOTS come out really early post partum. You don't want to keep a rotting gallbladder in there longer than it needs to be. The longer they're bad in there, the're alot harder to take out and can increase complications.

Lucky mother to five!

I had my gallbladder out between pregnancies 3 and 4. I only had a bit of upper quadrant pain during my 3rd pregnancy. My pregnancy after the removal was pretty normal other than I had loose stools most of my 4th pregnancy.
