I've breastfed all of mine but for different amounts of time. Eli will be the 3rd one that I've done for a year. The others were for 2-5 mos. I probably would have done my 5th child for a year but I got preggo so I stopped.

I breastfed mine, but different amounts of time. My first for 2 months (big disaster), the second for 4 months, my third for 6 months, my fourth for 8 months (technically 6 because she was premature) and with Julia I quit at 6 months.

I breastfed all of my kids, but for different amounts of time. With my first 3 I supplimented along with breastfeeding. I went 5 1/2 months with my first (got pregnant and she stopped), 4 months with my 2nd (caught tonsilitis and milk dried up), 2 months with my 3rd (he just stopped on his own), 11 months with my 4th (only breastfed and then got pregnant), 6 months with my 5th (I stopped), and am still breastfeeding my 3 week old but am also supplimenting.

I am currently breastfeeding our baby, who turned 1 on the 20th of June. I breastfed our 5 year old, Annie, Until she was 16 months old. I was working when I had our 10 year old, so I bottlefed her, and our oldest who is 14 was 2 months premature and in ICU so we bottlefed him as well. Given a 2nd chance, I would definetly breastfeed all of them. The younger 2 are by far healthier than the 1st 2 were. Less infections, viruses, etc.
