Anyone do Cars2 with the kids yet? What does or would it cost you to take all of your age-appropriate kids to the movies?

no, and not going to, we rarely go to the movies and when we do it's the cheap theatre so it's $4 a person. I rarely even rent a new release movie.
When we went to a 3D movie it cost us $96, good thing my mom paid.

We took the dc to the drive in to see Cars 2 and the second feature was Transformers 3. Not sure what it cost, we took 2 vehicles and dh paid, but I KNOW it was cheaper than it would have been for us all to go to the reg. theater.
$96!?!?!?! that's insane, that they charge that much.

It's been a VERY long time since any of us have been to a movie. DH took Noah to the 1st transformers, and the last time I saw a movie in theater was 50 1st dates I have no clue what it would even cost.

I usually take Nolan by myself to kids' movies, E is still not quite big enough to sit through decently, plus its hard to take two kids pee by myself plus haul all the stuff since they're still pretty young. With snacks and movie its $18 for me, plus another $13 for Nolan

We went. I wasn't crazy about it though.

We went to the drive in and tickets for all of us, two large drinks, a large popcorn and twizzlers cost $35. Not to shabby.

I've only ever been to a drive in once, it was on our trip to PEI in 2008, Nolan was jumping around like an animal, and I think we saw Shrek 2

^^ That's what's so great about the drive-in, kids run around, parents yell, the baby cries and nobody cares.

I think my nearest drive in is 5 hours away, but it was a fun experience when we did go

DH & I took all 4. I think it was $8 per person. We lied and said that the baby was under 1 year so we didn't have to pay $8 for her. IMO anyone that charges $8 for a 15 mth old to sit in a movie theater is insane, so we lied..yup, I'm a bad mom.
