the heat on yet?

What temp. do you usually keep your home?

Anything you do to help keep the cost of heating your home down?

It's set on 70 right now. I've turned it on and off for about a month now. We had a few really warm days inbetween of course lol.
I don't worry so much about the gas bill, it's on a budget plan, so I know for the year exactly what I am paying each month.

We had a cold front move in last night. Brrrrrrr..... I'm trying so hard not to turn on the heat but I do think it was about this time last year that we turned it on. Guess it's time.

Ha! No way. Still running AC, though. Had a break for about 2 weeks or so, but then it got hot, muggy, and buggy again. Hopefully in the next day or so we will be done with that and then can go au naturale until Dec.

So far I haven't had to, there was a week where I was so tempted to though. We went form 90's to 50's in a 24 hour period and prior to that we were in the 100's, man did that feel cold! Right now we are in the upper 60's in the day and high 30's low 40's at night, I will turn on the heat when we can not bundle up enough to stay warm. In the last few years we have only had 2 seasons, summer and winter, fall and spring just seem to have passed us by so I like to have a few electricity bills with nothing "extra" on them.

I turned it on last week when it started freezing outside, I'm super cheap and its set at 16degrees celcius, so somewhere around 63F

We still have the a/c running most days! I am hoping not to use my heater this year, a "low" for us is 40 and the house is pretty well insulated so fingers crossed we don't use the heater lol.

Ours kicked on in the morning once last week. I have mine set pretty low too, I find that it's maybe not that warm in the morning so I will turn it up just to get the chill out in the morning in the winter, but as the sun comes in it warms up on it's own.

If you're cold in this house, just put on a sweater
