How did you tell DH you were pregnant? Do you do fun little things, or do you just blurt it out?

Just blurt. However with #6 he was out of town so I took a pic of the test (the digital kind that indicates pregnant or not pregnant) and sent it in an email.

I just tell him, or send him a text. This last time I sent him a picture of the test in a text message. It's not really a surprise anymore no matter what.

I've done it in a variety of ways - but nothing really creative until #12 - I taped a note no the bathroom mirror that read:

"What do roses, doughnuts, eggs, and our children all have in common?"
(open the cabinet to find out)
inside the medicine cabinet I propped up the test with another note that read:
"They all come by the dozen!"

It depended if it was planned or not. The planned ones I just blurted it out. The others I had to show him like 5 tests before he'd believe it.

I am not very creative either, we live in a small town so he was usually the one to go pick up the test (good thing there's 2 drugstores and we know everyone that works at the other one).

Whenever I think I might be, I plan out all sorts of creative ways to tell him. But in between my youngest son and the current pregnancy it seemed that we were having trouble getting PG. I took tests so often it got boring. I was actually talking to him on the phone while I went to the bathroom, and didn't even tell him I was taking a test until I was in the middle of sentence and it changed to "OH...my....god......JOSH.....I'm pregnant!"

I swear though - the man had me take 3 tests and still wasn't convinced until I got in to see the doctor. He says he doesn't believe in plastic...lol. You'd think he'd get the drill by now.
