Do your kids like being a part of a large family?

Do they get teased about it ever?

My guys like having siblings around, I never have had to deal with jelousy issues bringing home a new baby, and they ask all the time for another baby.

When I was in school there was a family whose mom just had baby 10 my senior year of highschool. I remember all the kids making jokes about them. Although I don't know how they felt about it...not even sure if anyone made jokes to there faces or not.

I think mine like it. I've never asked and they have never said otherwise. I know out here large families are pretty normal. One of my kids friends has 11 other siblings, another has 8. Anything under 3 is more abnormal, then anything over it, but I live in a very heavily populated Mormon area.

As for things friends say, nothing, most are more suprised by the age gap and not by the number. They used to call my van the Mormon mobile (which I am not) or the shaggin' wagon lol. Sometimes you'll hear "There goes another O.....", but nothing negative.

When we told the kids about this baby the response from my teen daughter was: "I kinda think we have enough already." She is totally the type of kid that would love to be an only child.

I think the boys are at a stage where they are all getting along and enjoying playing or hanging out together almost all the time. They also enjoy the times when they are working together on outdoor chores or some "guy" kinds of stuff that comes up.

The little girls have two parents AND five siblings at their beck and call... I'm sure for now at least they think having a big family is the best ever.

I keep expecting my 14 to get annoyed but shes always excited to have a new baby around. She loves it and my younger ones are too young to really notice I think. They know that they have a lot of siblings but they dont think anything of it. They all love new babies.

I don't know if the kids ever get teased about it but they have their moments where they love it and hate it. If each of them could be an only child for 1 day a month I'm sure they'd be happy
