It's technically spring in a few days. Are there any signs of it where you are?

here: no, not a single one. There's lots of snow and more coming this week. It's still very unspringlike temperatures. Winter started early this year for us, it's been white since mid October.

Tell me spring exists somewhere!

Repti, I'm only a bit further south than you, in Northern IL and we're having the same garbage weather!
There were winter weather advisories yesterday and wind chill advisories today! There are still piles of snow everywhere.
I'm not sure I even believe in spring anymore. I didn't even bother getting Easter dresses for the kids this year, they're going to be in sweaters still anyway, I didn't see the point.

We have daffodils blooming and the chickens (finally!) started laying. Nice, sunshiny weather, too. I'm not sure if I should expect it to last since last year we were still getting hail...

On the flip side, my kids were a bit dissapointed that we didn't get much snow this winter.

No signs of spring here! We just got a good 12-15 inches of snow yesterday. There is supposed to be a little more coming. I really don't mind, but I know everyone else was over it at least a month ago. I suppose I would like to have nice weather when I have the baby.

No way! We are freezing. I know it will be hot soon enough, but I have had about enough of this never ending winter. We didn't get much snow...it's just been dreary. I went and bought myself a new pair of bright blue shorts to "celebrate" the first spring day of spring today. I hope to wear them soon. I get the feeling this is going to be one of those years where the girls are shivering and wearing sweaters with their Easter dresses.

Beth, we are in WI also and I heard this morning the difference from last year, on this first day of spring, to today........91 degrees!!!! That's crazy.

I'm joining the cabin fever group! We have snow piled higher than half our kids.
