This is our last and I feel closure already. It took a while to get pg and I was at peace with the 4 we have before this. I always said 6 would be my max number but it looks like 5

I always said 6, but pg is so hard on me. I said this is my last pg, so we are having twins! Twins means you are done right? I feel like my family is large now!

Since I haven't gotten pregnant again and we only have 8 surviving children plus my niece I guess that's it for us ... however, this does not feel like a large family for me and I always thought I would have a whole lot more than I do now. My life tends to come into focus when I have a lot going on at once (can you say ADD anyone?) - so when they all have friends over or I've got all my nieces and nephews over then I love it! So yeah, I could see myself with twice as many and still maintaining my sanity and a decently cleaned home.

For me a big thing is money. I am so under stress with money right now so it makes it hard for me to think about more children, because if we lose the house we have no where to even live with kids so it wouldn't be responsible to have another one. If I could dream and put money and health out of the way I would say I would like to have 8-10 kids. In reality I might be done (6) kids, but if I can get the mortgage situation sorted then I would like 1 more and even dream about 2 more.
MOM of 6!
