I have already introduced myself on the intro for new members but i thought i would re-introduce myself to you all here...my name is Patty I live in Claremont, North Carolina. I'm married to my wonderful hubby for 15 years as of this coming dec. 21st..We have 4 beautiful children Jacob-10, Darrien-9, Patrick-3, Emma-2. I had a tubal ligation done durning my c-section with Emma because i thougth that i didn't want anymore children, well this past august of 05 the good lord has put it on my heart to have it corrected and to put my fertility back into his hands..so now i'm on a Tubal reversal funding waiting list with Fit to be Untied and i'm #4 there are 17 ladies on the list...i know that God will be moving the list along real fast...I want a large family so bad but when i tell my family that they tell me that i'm crazy or what am i smokin....my parents tell me that we done have enough room and money wise, but on the other hand my mother-in-law is behind me on this because she also herself had 6 children so she raised a large family...i'm looking forward to getting to know you all here ....god bless you all and thanks again for welcoming me here to this wonderful group....

I patty and welcome!
My sister is 34 and has 7 liveing children out of 8 birth( #4 passed from sids at 6 weeks). Her dh didnt want any more kids after #8 so she had a tubal done however she know wants a TR and her dh finally agreed after 5 yrs. They are saveing up for one now and God willing we hope it works. I can understand the change of heart. My sister is choseing not to tell anyone they have some personal issues I wont get into. The family would be irate if they had more children but thats not our place to judge only Gods. I pray your Journies have sweet blessing at the end !!!!! Good luck!!

Hi Patty! I, too, have a large family (5 children - 4 girls/1 boy) and had my tubes tied a year after our youngest was born. (surgery was June 2004) I wasn't fully sure that I wanted to go through with it, in fact, moments before my surgery, I started to reconsider my decision. But being the subtle person I am, I felt I had obligation to go through with it since the doctor and my family had invested so much time into it. I told myself I will go through with it, and if God ever wished for me to have more, He will make it happen one way or another.

Well my husband is bugging me for another child already! He has me thinking about babies all the time! So naturally I am wishing I never had the surgery. We are considering a reversal, we are going to start a TR fund and hopefully complete the TR within 2 years. I know the surgeries are pricey, so it's going to take us some time to save.

Perhaps we can share experiences together, as we save and get ready for our TR's. I'm actually really excited to do this...I just pray that if and when we do our TR's, that we both have the outcome we are wishing for... and God blesses our families with a bundle of joy. There's nothing more precious!

Best of luck to you Patty!
