I am a mom of 4, so there are 6 of us in our small apartment. My kids are 9, 3, and twins that are 16 months old. I keep thinking how, if we had stopped at 2 kids, life would be sooo easy right now! No diapers, no highchairs, no diaper bags, etc. But, having twins, it seems as if things will never slow down. My 9 year old is Autistic, my 3 year old is VERY strong willed, always acts angry and is whiney, my twins...well they are wonderful, for now anyway. LOL! I am in college full time, otherwise I am a SAHM, my husband works full time, so he is not here all that much. Life is just at full speed right now. Will it ever slow down a little, enough at least so I can enjoy it?

hon. I only have one 16 month old and her and my almost 3 yearold keep me on my toes I can/t imagine twins! When I'm feeling overwhelmed I chant my mantra this too shall pass, this too shall pass. Just take it one day at a time and soon you'll be looking back wondering where the time went

I feel your pain .... minus having twins!! I have a 7 1/2 yr old, 6 1/2 yr old, 2 1/2 yr old, 12 month old, and I'm nearly 7 months pregnant. Some days, I just want to curl up in a ball under a blanket and cry!! I also am a college student and SAHM. Some days aren't so bad, others are horrid. I just keep hanging on .... and hoping that things will either get easier or I'll get better with coping!

I don't know how you moms that go to college do it, so now wonder your life is hectic. But like others said, this too shall pass, 16 months is a pretty demanding age, but in another year (or 2) it will be better.

Long days, short years.

I have 4 kids also but my oldest too are...well, older 18 and 16 and they help me out because there father is rarely home because of his work hours. Honestly its not to bad however if I had 4 little ones to really look after then Im sure I would think differently! I do get days where I just want to pull my hair out and on those days, I try to STOP, CATCH MY BREATH, and remind myself that life is to short to get all frizzled.
