I think fertility treatments are great, but our insurance does not cover anything to do with infertility so we can't afford them.

I've done a total of 12 rounds of Clomid over the years. We just completed our first round of injectible fertility drugs and my follies didn't grow. We can do up to 5 more rounds and then we'll move on to adoption. We can't afford IVF as it's $5000 plus per try. To adopt a child through foster care is really cheap here. Private adoption is 3 times the cost of IVF.

Hi CANDIE! I hope that one of those 5 rounds work for you. It would be great if the first one did. Sounds like your ready for a BFP! I'll be thinking of you. Please KUP on your process!

We are currently pg with our first thanks to IUI with donor sperm. This was also my first round on 50mg of clomid.

Besides adoption, this was our first route to having a baby since DH has been infertile since birth. I've known him since I was 13 or 14 and we've been together for a total of almost 7 years and married for over a year so I've known this would be the route we'd have to go and have had plenty of time to get used to the idea. We are very excited!!
