What do you keep in your cabinet, when if your food gets low ,you can always make a meal?
wat meals do you have that taste good and only has a few ingredients?

pasta & boxed diced tomatoes, canned beans, vegetarian baked beans, rice, quinoa, peanut butter & jelly (with bread in freezer), oatmeal, flour (breakfast for dinner like waffles, pancakes, etc).

grains and pastas, lentils cook up fast and make great stews. i always have diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste on hand.
we're canning things from our CSA this summer to have more stuff on hand over winter. super cheap way to stock up the pantry.
you can always have onions/bell pepper/garlic ready to go int he fridge for a base to a few meals for the week. you can always chop carrots and celery and have that ready to go.
