Not much as we are prepping for a hurricane/storm of the century

I am making brown rice salad (easy to eat cold) and DH will make a big batch of pasta and sauce to eat during the storm. They are estimating several days without power. We have a generator, but it is limited in what it will power.

myfavoriteshoes, congratulations!

meredith, happy birthday!

we bought some pizza dough from whole foods on sunday and used half of it to make flat bread to go with some grilled veggies that night and used it tuesday night to make a pizza in the cast iron pan in the oven. both good and not bad for 5$ worth of pizza dough.
monday night we had boring pasta with a red sauce.
no idea what we'll do tonight or tomorrow. the story of my life.
