There are days when both babies just don't wanna kick me. Now I'm almost 30 weeks. I will be tomorrow anyhow and I'd have thought I'd feel them more often. I know that when they move, they get tired for a little while and I may not feel much that day. Then after a few days of not kicking me, I get a bunch of really strong kicks from either if not both babies. It makes me so worried that I'm not feeling them. The other day, I was just complaining about not feeling them much and my hubby just reminded me how they have been doing that then they kick the heck out of me a few days later. I still worry! Should I be? I can't just be going to L&D every time I don't feel a kick or two. The L&D is actually inconvenient and fairly far from me. I do have a doctor's appointment on Monday. I suppose I could just wait till then. It's coming up so soon. I also don't want to be in constant worry for nothing. UGH. When people say you can't help but be worried for your unborn baby, I don't think they realized how much more you worry when you have multiples!!

I just went on a HUGE shopping spree for clothes. I actually started to get worried during the shopping that we are jumping the gun. But I'd still get the occasional kick. Nothing hard like usual, but I was feeling them move around in there at least occasionally. That gave me some comfort. But I just count so much on those really strong, knock mommy around kicks that I get from both of them.

I suppose this is common at least for mommies of repeat miscarriages. I just would hate to go through all this happiness just to find out something went wrong again, and I still don't get my dream of being a mom and lose my baby/ies after all this time.

Thanks for letting me have my anxiety attack here. I just needed to get it out.

((HUGS)) Babies have quite days as well. Some times they just need to relax and take it easy. I have days where I dont feel either of them as well and then the next day they are fighting or something in there... maybe the days that they arent moving they are having a growth spurt?? IDK.

I know my two slept a lot while baking in the tummy. Do you feel hiccups or anything like that? Have you asked your doctor about the kick count?

I'm sure that they are okay, worrying is just a normal part of the pregnancy. ((hugs)) Hang in there, not too much longer to go and you will be holding your beautiful boys in your arms!

It could be a number of things. I found that when I was especially active, the babies weren't. I was lulling them to sleep with all the moving I was doing. If I was trying to relax, they would sure make themselves known! Also, as you get further along, the babies are getting bigger and bigger, and they are running out of room. They may be kicking, but it may be to each other and you wouldn't necessarily feel all that. I know I didn't feel a lot of kicks because I had anterior placentas (on the top and front of my uterus) so when they would kick me, the placentas would cushion the blows.

I went to L&D at least 4 times with my twin pregnancy b/c I wasn't feeling them move around as much as I thought I should be. They were always fine. They probably just don't have as much room to move around as in a singleton pregnancy.

That's probably it. I will say they've been moving a little more today. I just try to remind myself that there really isn't much room at all. In fact, I just started to get stretch marks. UGH I was so hoping to avoid those. They are SOOO itchy!!! Any ideas on how to relieve myself of their itchiness?

The cocoa butter works wonders! I would have lost my mind without it!
