I am having such a rough time with this...and with only one of my boys. He has always been more sensitive, but beginning about two weeks ago, literally I cannot walk more than 5 feet from him and he cries. He's fine with his nanny all day long (when I'm not there), and fine with my mother (when I'm not there), but as soon as he sees me, he breaks into tears and doesn't stop. He's even usually ok with dad, unless he knows I'm nearby.

Tell me this is normal, and that it will end! I thought we were past the endless crying stage!

Jake is going through the same sort of thing right now, I think it is totally age-appropriate. I can totally relate to your frustration though! I'm also concerned because he is choosing to be super clingy the month his twin sisters are due, eep!

I could have written that word for word, including the part about being okay with my nanny and with grandma, but if he sees me, all heck breaks loose. I can't even remember when it started, but he is still doing it and he is 20 months old. I notice it more with Braeden, the fraternal twin. Jamison and Patrick don't really do this. It's really bad at night after dinner when me and my hubby are trying to clean up dinner and they are in the family room and they can see us the whole time and Braeden just stands at the gate and cries and screams until we go in there. Some days he is fine playing with his brothers and other days he is more sensitive. I have to say, when it's a sensitive day, it's rough.

Thank you to *Kiliki* for creating the perfect siggy!
