Hi girls,

I'd like to introduce myself here (again! I have done this last year as well)

DH and I have been trying for kids for many years, and after our first Clomid try, we finally conceived in 2009! We were both excited like kids and eventually told all our family and friends by 2nd trimester. Unfortunately, at 17 weeks pregnant I woke up to my water breaking and had to be induced a few hours later in the hospital to deliver my first son, Malakai. I was diagnosed with an IC. Needless to say the heartbreak and the pain I was in and am still to this day.

Next year, we tried again, and after a few unsuccessful cycles, we conceived again on our 2nd Clomid try. This time it was fraternal twins - and that's when I think I joined this board. Unfortunately, one of the twin's heart stopped beating at 9 weeks. Later, I underwent a cerclage and the pregnancy continued until I had my son at 40 weeks. My little Fighter Bean. I thank universe daily for my miracle.

After we had him, DH and I decided to NTNP based on how long it took us to get to where we are. 6 months later we got our surprise in the form of a BFP... Planned, in a way, but very unexpected. Nevertheless, we are very excited and thankful. First ultrasound at 6 weeks showed one baby and a healthy hear beat... but the one three weeks later showed TWINS... this time identical that seem to be in the same sac... Needless to say, we are in total shock. I cried right there on the table and couldn't believe this was happening. I mean, what are the chances??

Right now, I'm anxiously awaiting my cerclage which is scheduled next week and can't get here fast enough. We are still in shock but are so excited and very thankful, beyond words.

So here is my story

Oh, and I just noticed that Rebecca posted here, and I'm excited to share with you that we're with her together in May DDC! We've been TTC#1 buddies since 2009

Here are my twins:

Congrats and welcome. I'm so glad you made it back here It can be really hard this early on to see if there is 1 sac or 2 sacs that are like one with a very thin divider. I can't wait for your next u/s so you can see what type of twins mono/mono or mono/di.
