I'm 14 weeks pregnant with twins. This is my 3rd pregnancy. With my first DS I felt movement for the first time at 17 weeks. With my 2nd it was earlier- I swear around 13 / 14 weeks. I think I've been feeling the flutters over the last day or 2, but I'm not sure. I thought I'd feel them earlier because there are 2. Baby A has an anterior placenta though so maybe this is not what I'm feeling?

Just wondering what other twin mommies experiences were?

Sometime during week 15 I started to feel them moving around in there, and during week 16 I could start to feel kicks toward my back/kidneys (both placentas are anterior). It is overwhelming sometimes to have 8 limbs flailing around in there

They were my first pregnancy that got far enough along to feel kicks, so maybe I just didn't know what I was supposed to be feeling, but I didn't feel anything I thought might even maybe be until I think maybe 21-22 weeks and I didn't feel anything I was SURE was the kids until I think 24-25 weeks. I had two anterior placentas though, so that might have been part of it too.

I had an anterior shared placenta, so it was big. I didn't feel any movement until 17w and then it was just tiny flutters. I couldn't feel any hard kicks for a few more weeks after that. I felt a lot less with that pregnancy than I do with my current one. I never felt hiccups with the twins even though I could often see the girls hiccuping during an u/s.

Thank you peimum for my siggie

It will sound nuts but I swear I started feeling flutters around 8 or 9 weeks! The doctors tell me that's impossible, but I know what I felt! It became more distinctive around 13-14 weeks though.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and i started feeling the flutters really early, but I am 17 wks now and only feel them a little bit and usually if I am sitting down. They have anterior placentas so I think it is def cushioning the blows!

15wks with really inconsistent flutters and I too had an anterior placenta with baby b and a complete previa with baby a. Nothing consistent until 20wks or so

I think I started feeling flutters at about 12-14 weeks. It helped that I knew what I was feeling. With DD I had no clue.
