When do you girls remember feeling movement and flutters with your 2nd pregnancy? I'm 15w3d today and still haven't felt anything. I *think* I may have felt something last night, but when I put my hand on my tummy all I could feel was my pulse. ARGH, I just want to start feeling movement already so I know Sweet Pea's doing well in there!

Also, they say the 2nd you usually feel earlier, due to both knowing the feeling and because your uterus is bigger to begin with...but do you think because I lost Katrina so early (just before 23 weeks), that my uterus didn't get as big as it obviously would compared to someone who went full term...so do you think this could be why I haven't felt anything as of yet???

Any input would be great

First - 20/21 weeks, Second and third - 16 weeks

**Wanted to add that my trick for feeling movement with this little guy is to lay on my tummy. From 16 weeks to about 18.5 weeks I would only really feel movements while laying on my stomach. Now they are becoming more frequent when I'm sitting or standing, but if I'm nervous about not feeling him move, I'll lay on my stomach for a few minutes till I feel those definite movements. Don't know if that would help in your case or not.

see with Katrina, I didn't feel anything until very close before we lost her. I can't remember the exact week, but I've been thinking about it and I'm thinking it wasn't until at least after 20 or close to 21 weeks. So maybe I won't feel Sweet Pea until a bit later either?

it also depends on where the placenta is. But some people just don't feel it until later, and since you didn't feel anything until after 20 weeks with Katrina I'd say it'll probably take a little bit longer still.

I so want to feel movement!!! I can't wait.

I first felt Cora at 19 weeks, and Erin at 17 or so. I was thinking that I felt Patrick starting from 11 weeks, but I wasn't SURE until 14. I still don't know whether it was just gas or not for those 3 weeks.

Just keep in mind, that the later you start feeling movement, the more consistent it'll be right away. With Patrick I'd feel something and then NOT feel anything for a day or two, and it drove me crazy. It didn't start getting regular until 20 weeks or so with any of them.

I started feeling flutters with Roald at 18 weeks then defninitive kicks the week or two before we lost him. This pregnancy I began feeling flutters and movements at 14 weeks and really definite kicks at 22/23 weeks and then alot of movement from then on daily.

I was at my Dr's today asked him when I should start feeling the flutters. He laughed and said "you're only 15 1/2 weeks...wow, you're impatient, aren't you!?!" haha. I told him with Katrina I felt her about 21 weeks, so he said I prob won't feel this baby until closer to 18/19 weeks. Hopefully I feel Sweet Pea sooner though!

Very early for me. Around 14 weeks with my first, 12 weeks with my 2nd and 9/10 weeks with my 3rd and 4th.

I have an anterior placenta this time though so while I felt the flutters very early I didn't feel strong, consistent movement until after 20 weeks.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my perfect siggy Follow us on Facebook
