My baby is a month and is doing a lot of grunting and straining. what can I do to help him along.

Lay him on back massage tummy, slow bicycle movements with legs,gas drops like gripe water,mylicon,Diluted Prune Juice.

If you are breastfeeding write down a chart the foods you ate that time then if he's showing some issues remove those type of foods to see if it is better.

If he's bottle fed see about switching formula maybe that type of formula may be affecting him some way.

Since your son is a month old I imagine born in Dec.
