Hey my name is Amanda nd this is the first time I've been here. »I was trynna find out a few things for my niece nd came across this site. I've tried for a baby over 20 yrs no luck but have been blessed with my amazing niece, Tiara who just got gave birth to her first son, Saint on July 9, 2013 ... so I'm still very blessed nd in these yrs I've read alot, been a nanny nd babysitter worked in day care so I think I know a good deal about babies but I wanted to ask some of you mommies a couple of the things I was looking up that I wasn't sure of nd get your advice/opinions if possible.
First thing my nephew is 2 1/2 months old nd he drools EXCESSIVELY nd is always wanting to chew on something(. His mama got her teeth early but I can't remember what age, is it possible that he is fixen to start teething? What I've read so far tells me yes cus it can be as early as 3months but some babies can begin earlier. Is this true nd if so about how long can she expect it to be before he has other teething symptoms like the fussing, fever, runs etc nd would it hurt to start giving him a teething ring when hes fussing for something to put in his mouth? Also shes already giving him rice cereal in how bottles nd he handling it well, holding his head up good etc so is or good if she starts to introduce him to jar baby food .. if not when should she? I know all babies r different nd I told her I would try applesauce now nd see if he can handle it but my sister is paranoid nd thinks she should wait. any suggestions nd when to introduce nd what to start with, I recommended making a lil thicker mixture of rice cereal to get him introduced to the spoon since hes already taking a lil in his formula, then applesauce then carrots as he gets a lil older etc, is that ok or suggestions plz :-) .. And last thing my niece, Tiara is mixed, 1/2 white 1/4 black nd 1/4 hispanic her husband his black the baby was born with brown eyes nd they both have brown eyes but her side of the family, myself, my her dad grandfather etc have blue eyes or hazel nd on the husband side his grandfather nd a cousin who are both black have green eyes so theres a gene on his side other than brown. is it possible the babys eyes will be green, blue, hazel something other than brown? what I read I found earlier said that most babies born with brown don't usually change to any other color but it looks like they could be lightening up.. what do u think .. we really can't be sure till later? Thanks for my long post nd any nd all comments nd suggestions will nd would be greatly appreciated by my niece nd myself! God bless <3 :-)
