Hiya all

I found this great place while searching the net for answers, and thought why not ask real people, who may have experienced this.

My period was 4 days late this month, it felt like it was coming for about a week or so, alot of lower cramping, and ALOT of breast pain, esp nipples. So i took a test on the first day my period was late, which was neg. I now have my period, well i guess it is. Its much lighter, and the colour is different then normal. My main concern is that my breasts are STILL very painful. I never get breast pain normally before a period, during one, or during ovulation like some people. I did another test today, also neg.

So now i am totally confused. I asked the dr about it when i was there with a chest cold and she blew it off and said Hun, your just getting ya period. I felt like screaming and saying, NO, I DONT HAVE BREAST PAIN NORMALLY, this is painful!

So any advice would be very welcomed. I am 27, have no kids, and suffer from a high blood pressure, so am on meds for it. Once i was told by the same dr that the beta blocker i am on will hurt a baby after only 3 weeks, so i am scared i could kill a baby, if i am pregnant, or have already killed one, hence the bleeding.

welcome to justmommies!

sorry you are having problems... I would get another doctor. plus if you are still getting negatives 2 weeks after your AF was due, I would get a blood test done . blood test are the only 100% accurate tests. I would also see your general doctor(the one that put you on the meds) to be sure. You can always call your pharamacist and ask there..

Hi, Welcome to JustMommies

I dont think your pregnant, I dont think you'd get two negative tests if you were..your breast pain might just be to do with your being on your period, Some months i used to have loads of breast pain and some months none.If your still not sure then see about getting a bloodtest done, that will tell you for definate if your pregnant or not.Hope this helps

Thanks to Julia (Julka) for my beautiful siggy!
Come and see how Alyssa's grown!!

Welcome to JM!!

Only your doctor can tell you for sure but personally some months I get symptoms with my period and other months I don't! Mine are always different!
