I dislike it. It reminds me of coy/koi fish or being coy in demeanor.

Coy means quiet or shy, but in some cases people use it to mean flirtatious. Then there's the fish, though that's spelled koi.

I really wouldn't want to be named Coy. I don't even know if it's a boy's names or a girl's name... it's just a word.

I don't like it. I can't say it without thinking of the fish, though it's spelled different... it still sounds the same.

i'm showing my age here, but "coy" always makes me think of when "the dukes of hazzard" tried to replace bo and luke duke with their "cousins" coy and vance... no true southerner was happy about that one...

although i did know a pretty cute guy named coy, too...
