Jack Oliver or Jackson Oliver?

My grandfather was born Jack Lee and was baptised Jack Oliver so he goes by Jack Oliver. So he would be named after him.

Or what do you think about Jackson Lane? Elaine is my mother's middle name so he would be named after my grandfather and mother...

It's nice. Usually I like Jack better as a nickname (for John, not Jackson), but since your grandfather was named Jack and it's honoring him, I think it's good as a full name.

Jackson Lane, definitely because it's also important [in my eyes, anyhow] to honor your mother too. I also think Jackson Lane sounds best, looks best, and goes best with your other boys.

I think they both sound like, but I prefer Jackson Oliver. You could still call him Jack. Jackson Lane is nice too, I absolutely love the name Lane.

Oh I'll never have a boy....
