Last night I was watching Trading Spaces on TLC and the DH's name was Lauren Has anyone ever heard of a guy named Lauren?
At first I just thought the host of the show was saying it wrong.. I thought it was Lorne and she was just saying Laur-en .. but no .. they put it right up on the screen "Amy and Lauren's house" .. So strange.

I just looked this up on babynamer.com --

"Popularity: The name Lauren ranked 1202nd in popularity for males of all ages in a sample of the 1990 US Census."

So, I guess there are other male Lauren's running around!!
(FTR ~ it's nmsAA for a male. But, I love it on a female).

Traditionally its spelled Loren though (Lorne is a different pronunciation)

(I'm a Lauren by the way)

I have heard of it on males, but not so much with that spelling...

I prefer it on a girl.

NMS on a male but yes, I've known a few in southwest Arizona. They spelled it Loren though.

Weird. I'm like you and have only seen Loren on males (which I dislike) and I REALLY dislike Lauren on a guy.
