hi there,

just was curious as to what you all thought of...well, I call them 'run-on' names but I think there's actually a name for that. When the letter of the first name is the same as the letter of the last name such as:

Belle Black (I know, it's from Days!)
Jessica Johnson
Sally Smith

These ppl aren't anyone in particular.

Or even what do you think about:

Isabelle Buckley, with the two "B" sounds one right after the other.
Aiden Duggan (two "D" sounds)

I guess I never really thought about it before but now that you mention it I think it sounds nice together.

I love the name Jayce but I won't use it because our last name is Scott and it doesn't sound right together.

I'm very particular. Our last name begins with an H so I've ruled out any H names. I don't like when sound repeat themselves right after another. I also prefer to have different sylables with the first name and last. We really liked Heather for a middle name for Alorah it's our best friends name but we used her middle name Anne combined with my sil's first name Julie. Alorah Julianne H. It is really difficult for us to find names too.

Our last name is short and starts with M but I'm thinking about naming our daughter Mallory. I think it sounds ok because it's 3 syllables. A short name starting with M would not sound good at all.
In general I think some of those names sound cute & some don't seem to go together. It just depends on the grouping & # of syllables in the names.

I think some names that have the same letters sounds great. I would like to name my third son Gabriel Michael or Gabriel Mathew and my last name begins with an M.

My sons name is Anthony Nathaniel (lots of n sounds)
