WDYT? What kind of boy/man do you see wearing this name?

How would you pronounce it? That is my biggest concern...... it is pronounced joe-bh, not job as in work.

Job in the Bible was a strong and faithful man, so that is what I think of with this name.

Used as a name, I would pronounce Joeb. Maybe spell it that way or Jobe and people would pronounce it right. Some people are always going to mess up a simple name so spell it however you want to.

It's nmsAA. . . at first glance I would say it just as you wouldn't want it pronounced, lol .. like as in job, work. I wasn't aware it was prn. otherwise until you said so. Either way, it's not a name I care for much.

I think many people will pronounce it "Job" like the work. That would deter me from using it.

The pronunciation doesn't bother me as much as the connotations -- it's a nice-sounding name, but I would be afraid that the boy who wore it would be cursed to a miserable, disastrous life! (Like Job in the Bible).

Thank you to the SSMC makers for my beautiful siggies!

I wouldn't mispronounce it, but I also don't like it.

I'd pronounce it Jobe (like robe) and I see it as a very masculine name. That being said...there is a client at my job with this name and I've heard two of the paralegals pronounce his name job, like work. I think you'd get that a lot.
