I love old fashioned names like Joesphine, Emmeline, Adeline, Pearl, Evelyn nn Evie. Since my name is Brittany Suzanne I feel like no matter how old I get my name doesn't represent the mature woman that I am. I don't want my daughter to feel like that...but maybe it's just me. So any suggestions on old fashioned names?

Oh, I like some old fashioned names. A few you listed I associate with people I took care of at the nursing home, so yeah some bad and good associations there!

My absolute favorite older name is Vivian. I also really like Lilian. Both have good NN potential and are appropriate for all ages.
Cheryl, mama to Noah Paul born 12/26/09, wife to wonderful hubby Rob
I am proudly a homebirthing, excluively breastfeeding from the tap, constantly babywearing, bed sharing, attached mama to a high needs baby. He is a part time diaper-free baby!
