I love this name, but I prefer the simple Chase spelling. I don't like the letter y in a boy's name, and especially not when it's added in unnecessarily.

I usually propose the usual spelling so you don't confuse people. So your son doesn't go through life saying "Yes it's Chase, just spelled funny/wrong"

Thanks for the input. The spellings with the "y" are in my baby name book - I didn't just make them up. Although I was leaning towards the spelling Chayse...the more I look at it...the more I am leaning towards the traditional spelling. Which makes DH happy.
