I posted about this a looong time ago and it got a lot of responses.

What makes a name a timeless classic and what makes a name dated? I find that these two styles are subjective and often overlap. For instance- it is probably safe to say that most people would consider Henry a classic but what about names such as Justin and and Brian? While both were big hits in the 80's (and could be considered dated) they have stayed in the top 100 since...does that make them classics?

I'm curious to hear everyone's opinions- not only on the names I mentioned above but both styles in general!!
