my FIL gave us a list of family members dating from 1625 to 1919

there are lots of the expected Williams and Marys but some others:

the bad news is, I'm totally screwed. DH's fam had lots and lots of children with multiple wives. I expect him to out live me but dang! his ancestors were outliving 3 and 4 wives (havin many children with them all!)

FIL was hoping we'd choose a family name to use at least as the middle name... not so sure about that. Well MAYBE if The Hubster will consider Freedom, hee hee hee

My parents have a list like that that my grandparents on both sides have compiled. Andrew doesn't even know his aunt and uncles full names... his family isn't close.

I'm hoping to go through my family list and find someone named Oliver so I can push it even harder

Of yours, I love Jonas and Luana.

Thank you, Jaidynsmum, for the amazing siggy

Almira is cool, but only because The Wizard of Oz is my most favorite movie.

Um, Jonas is the only name on that list I'd consider. It's tough when you have family members breathing down your neck, but don't settle on a family name if you don't love it. If your FIL gets upset if you don't go with a family name, kindly remind him that the child is taking his last name, and that is sufficient, lol.
