I saw it on another parenting forum... It's certainly not a name I associate with a girl (ie the usual spelling of Lachlan)...

Yuck. I don't like it at all. Lachlan on a boy is fine, but I'm getting a little tired of all these boy names being turned into girl names with "creative" spellings.

Since my son's name is Lochlann I definitely can't see it for a girl. We call him Loch or Lochy and I just can't see that nickname for a girl at all.
