I'm in love with the name Penelope, but I especially love Poppy. I can't find a middle name for either and can't decide which one I would rather use. My last name begins with "An" so -an or an- names are out. It's just too much. And Jane is taken, which would have been another good alternative.

I'll have to think about middle names, but I just wanted to say (even though I love Penelope nn Nell or Penny) I don't think Penelope nn Poppy is entirely outlandish. It would be a pretty cute, offbeat choice and you could use both names you love.

I think Poppy is fine on its own, though I personally prefer Penelope with "Poppy" as a NN.
I LOOOVEEEE the suggestion of Penelope Kate. SO spunky!

Penelope was one of our girl names. Poppy is a good nickname for it. Our name was Penelope Rose...
