I would have much preferred Lark Agnes. I think Kai, Stellan and Lark would of made a nice sibset.

Agnes is nms but I can see the appeal (an unusual (for babies & kids) old-fashioned name), I do agree Lark would fit better in the sibset.

I like Agatha better than Agnes. Agnes makes me think of the old movie Agnes of God where the nun gets pregnant and kills her baby. Not good!

I quite like it. I don't think it would be my decision, but its loads better than some of the names out there

I've noticed the opinions on this baby name site are always a year or so behind many other naming sites...my bet is many on here will start to like the name Agnes - once it becomes more common.

I don't dislike Agnes, but I do prefer Agatha. I think Aggie is a cute nick name, and one of the few nick names I'd let people use for my own kids. And it is loads better than other celebrity baby names - "Petal Blossom Rainbow" for instance.

Well I agree it is out of step with the sib set. Lark goes better.

Agnes is pretty fuddy duddy sounding and it has been awhile and I still think Hazel is fuddy duddy. (Julia Robert's daughter.)

Awful. I'm all for bringing names back, but this one needs to stay on the shelf
