I'm due in less than a month and we still have no name picked out!

My husband seems to have a lack of interest or else he's just trying to make me lose my mind, but I'm not getting much input from him!
I would prefer something not common, but something strong. I don't want to go with a real oddball (and oddball can be good! i'm not saying there is anything wrong with that!) name for our son. I'm more prone to pick a different name for a girl, but want a stronger name for a boy. That's getting hard if I don't want a super common one.
I also like a name that you can get a nickname out of.

Here are some names I've very loosely considered (and a few thrown in for fun since i have a friend here from real life that post stalks me and we keep our names secret until birth )

My daughter is Tessa Kathryne.

Our last name is Stevens, so Steven/Stephen/Steffan are all out So is Charles (my husband). We've got the middle name and I really haven't found a name it doesn't go with, so we're good there.

What do you think of those names with Tessa, or do you have any other suggestions? Please help a huge pregnant lady out!

The only Tessa I know IRL has brothers Fisher and Rhett. I think those are two strong boy names.

From your list, I too, like Eliot the best.

How about Zane or Wyatt?
Thank-you GraysMama for my beautiful siggy!

First, I loove the name Tessa! Second, I was going to suggest Rhett and Wyatt, but I was beaten to the punch.

I really like Eliot from your list.

I really like Adam! It is a solid choice, and not that popular (#81 on SSA.GOV).

Blake - feels a little soft to me.

Eliot - like, prefer Elliot spelling

Gavin - too harsh sounding

Cohan - A Cohen is a Jewish priest and a religious name, so it would pretty much be like a non-Christian person naming their child Jesus. That would bother me.

Cooper - like Cooper, but don't love it.

Spencer - like Spencer, but wouldn't consider it strong.

Kai -handsome/pretty boy name

Cason - not a fan of this at all.

Kingston - I immediately think of Gwen Stefani's baby. I do like some celebrity baby names, this isn't one of them.

Other ideas (strong, not too common):

Tessa and Beau

Tessa and Easton (East) *love East!*

Tessa and Grady

Tessa and Dax

Tessa and Ryder

Tessa and Griffin

Tessa and Emmett

Tessa and Graham

Tessa and Dashiell (Dash)

Tessa and Ford

Tessa and Thad (or Thaddius nn Thad)

Tessa and Callum

Tessa and Wyatt

Tessa and Wesley (Wes)
