We've never really been into theme names but DH and I are starting to contemplate them. DD's name is Maggie (DH says the name comes from Rod Stewart's Maggie May). We have agreed if this baby turns out to be boy his name will be Lincoln (possibly Linkin) after Linkin Park. We are struggling to decide on a girl name now and we're starting to think maybe a music inspired name - preferrably pop/rock inspired. Any ideas?

If the music theme doesn't work out, we could just go with older names since Maggie and Lincoln are both old names. WDYT?

Coming soon...... Linkin Archer

For girl names, you have a wealth of songs that have a girl name as the title.
Deliliah (Hey There Delilah)
Roxanne (Roxanne by the Police)
Gloria (Viva La Gloria by Green Day)
Elise (A Letter to Elise by the Cure)
Alice (Alice by Avril Lavigne)
Anna or Molly (Anna Molly by Incubus)
Athena (Athena by the Who)
Beth (Beth by Kiss)
Cassie (Cassie by Flyleaf)
Charlotte (Charlotte Sometimes by the Cure)
Juliet (Check Yes Juliet by We the Kings)
And that's only a couple of quite a few.

Hendrix or Jimmy/Jimi
Link, Linkin, Lincoln for Linkin Park like you suggested
Kurt or Cobain

I LOVE the name Maggie! Lincoln is nice too. But I strongly prefer Lincoln to Linkin! Linkin is very 'slang/misspelled/almost criminal' looking. It is not polished at all! I get wanting to go with a musical theme, but I'd keep it subtle and stick with the Lincoln. Here are some musical word names that I like:
