With all the trends in naming, which direction would you like to see names go next? More classic, edgy, modern, unisex?

My naming style is more traditional, classic names. Also I'd say they're Catholic in theme because I like a lot of saints names.

I'm kind of torn on this. I tend to love names that aren't at all popular (which you wouldn't know given my kid's names, but that's because my husband doesn't like any of the names I love). So I don't really want MY naming style to get popular, but at the same time I'd love to at least see LESS of the trends that are going on right now.

I typically feel like the 300-400 range on the SSA list needs to become to 1-100 list every few years to keep things fresh and flowing, and to keep namers from getting tired of the current trends. Of course that never happens, because not enough people get tired of what's "in" fast enough for my tastes.

I like the classic, but modern names like Ella, Ava, Chace, etc. I think that they are old fashioned, but still beautiful!
