So we just found out we're having a little boy!

All the girl names I came up with and NOT ONE boy name that I really liked. Go figure.

Well SO saw the name Croix the other day and fell in love with it. He pretty much has his heart set on it at this point, and I must say I kind of like it too.

The problem is, I like names that have a nice flow to them. He insisted from day one that his first born son would have the middle name Charles (family name). Croix Charles just doesn't go well to me so I talked him into hyphenating the middle name. But with what?

His top choice is Croix Marrek-Charles. meh it's ok but I think we can do better.

any suggestions?

Are you pronounces it the French way, or the American way? That makes a difference! "Croy" or "Kwah"?

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I found a few to add to the list. We'd be pronouncing it Croy. Sounds much stronger-to me- than Kwah.

I don't mind Marrek Charles for a middle name, but I wanted some input on different ideas for the middle. Geez, I should be able to pick SOMETHING! SO shouldn't get to christen him by himself. LOL

I just don't think it 'flows' very well. I like names that have a nice rhythm to them when you say them. For instance the girl names I had picked out:

Cordelia KaylaMarie
Mykelti KaylaMarie
Illyriah KaylaMarie

not sing-songy names but names that have a rhythm when you say them.... make sense? lol! It's a hard concept to explain.
