I'm a huge fan of the name Moriel and Muriel reminds me of it. x)
I like names that sound like ALMOST too much personally, I think they're more memorable and strong sounding. Anne is also a very clean and classic middle name. I love your name idea.

[Muriel]

It is Irish and means shining sea.

My husband and I are still name hunting and my list is getting LONGER but we are looking for that zing of THIS IS IT!

So what do you think of Muriel? Muriel Mor*ti*more too much? I also don't like Elizabeth, Marie or Nicole with it and Think Anne would be better

Muriel Anne Mor*ti*more

I don't really like Anne as a middle name - it sounds too "filler." I like Elizabeth or Nicole, but not Marie - M.M.M. is a no go for me. As for the name Muriel - it's not really my style but it's not bad. I really like Mallory, though. And Marian is cute.

Muriel was my grandmas name. Its not something I would use as is. I have been thinking of Mirielle, calling her Miri.

I agree with PP, Muriel is too old fashioned. I like Mirielle! Such a modern and gorgeous version of it! Mirielle Anne Mortimore is beautiful!

Muriel is nms. My sister's name is Marielle (Mary-Elle). That's kinda like it.
